Product Introduction

Transgenic plants expressing chitinase activity were obtained by transferring chitinase from bacteria or plants to tobacco, tomato, lettuce, soybean, potato and beet.

 

Compared with wild-type plants, transgenic plants are not only resistant to fungi, but also to insects and nematodes. However, the insecticidal activity of chitosan oligosaccharide is not as good as that of chemical pesticides, so it is not suitable to be used directly as a conventional insecticide, but can partly replace insecticides or be used as synergist of insecticides.

Insecticidal principle

Chitosan oligosaccharides can inhibit the growth of some pathogens, affect the germination of fungal spores, induce morphological variation of hyphae, and change the biochemical characteristics of spores. It can stimulate genes in plants, produce chitinase, glucanase, protegerin and PR protein with disease resistance, and has cell activation function, which is conducive to the recovery of injured plants, promoting roots and seedlings, enhancing stress resistance of crops, and promoting plant growth and development.

 

Chitosan oligosaccharide not only has strong prevention and eradication effect, but also has the effect of nutrition, regulation, detoxification and antibacterial.
