【Test Case 1】

Effects of dietary chitosan oligosaccharides on immune function of broilers.

640 healthy 1-day-old AA broilers were randomly divided into 4 groups with 8 replicates in each group and 20 broilers in each replicate. The control group was fed with basic diet, and the experimental group was fed with 200, 350 and 500 mg/kg chitosan oligosaccharide respectively. The experimental period was 42 days.

The results show that: 1

1) Compared with the control group, the antibody titers of 28 day old broilers were significantly increased (P 0.05);

2) The concentration of IgG, IgM and IgA in serum of 21 day old broilers was significantly higher than that of 42 day old broilers (P 0.05);

3) The content of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of 21 and 42 day old broilers was significantly increased by adding chitosan oligosaccharide (P0.05)_3~+CD_4 ~ + and CD_3~+CD_The percentage of 8 ~ + T lymphocytes increased significantly (P 0.05);

4) Chitosan oligosaccharide significantly increased the concentrations of serum cytokines IL-1 β, IL-2, IFN - γ, TNF-a and the content of complement C3 in 21 and 42 day old broilers (P 0.05), and reached the maximum at 350 mg/kg;

5) Chitosan oligosaccharide significantly increased the serum NO content of 21 day old broilers (P0.05). Therefore, dietary chitosan oligosaccharide can improve the immune function of broilers, and the best immune promotion effect can be achieved when the dosage of chitosan oligosaccharide is 350 mg/kg.
