Product Introduction

Regulation of animal intestinal flora:

Chitosan oligosaccharides are linked by β - 1,4-glycosidic bonds. Mammals can not play a role in β - 1,4-glycosidic bonds, and their ability to decompose β - 1,4-glycosidic bonds is weak. Chitosan oligosaccharides can be decomposed and utilized by beneficial bacteria in the intestine, promote the proliferation of beneficial bacteria, combine with harmful bacteria, reduce the pathogenicity of harmful bacteria, improve the intestinal micro ecological environment, and reduce gastrointestinal diseases.

Test Cases

This experiment was conducted to study the effects of dietary chitosan oligosaccharide (COS) on immune function and intestinal microflora of sows and piglets

Forty healthy Yorkshire pregnant sows with similar body weight, backfat thickness, parity and expected delivery date were randomly divided into two groups, with 20 replicates in each group, and one sow in each replicate. The control group was fed the basic diet, and the experimental group was fed the experimental diet supplemented with 30 mg / kg cos in the basic diet. The experimental period was from the 90th day of pregnancy to the 7th day after delivery

The results showed that: 1) the supplementation of COS in perinatal sows' diets had no significant effect on the delivery process, total litter size, live litter size, litter weight and average birth weight of sows (P > 0.05). 2) the supplementation of COS in perinatal sows' diets significantly increased the serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) level, The contents of immunoglobulin A (IGA) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) (P 0.05). 3) the contents of IgG, IL-2 and IL-6 in colostrum of sows fed with COS in perinatal period were significantly increased (P 0.05). 4) the contents of IL-2 and IL-6 in serum of newborn piglets fed with COS in perinatal period were significantly increased (P < 0.05), The content of IgA in serum was significantly decreased (P < 0.05). 5) the number of Salmonella in feces of sows was significantly decreased by adding COS in the diet of perinatal sows (P < 0.05), and the number of Escherichia coli in feces was decreased (P = 0.062)

It can be concluded that the supplementation of COS in the diet of perinatal sows can improve the intestinal health of sows, increase the number of live piglets to a certain extent, and significantly enhance the immune function of sows and newborn piglets
